Nigeria’s Super Eagles trained behind closed doors on Sunday in preparation for Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier showdown against Benin in Uyo.
It was their first training after the team was forced to pass the night in Luanda, Angola after the windshield of the aircraft flying them from South Africa cracked in mid-air.
The training schedule opened by 5pm, which is also the kick-off time for Tuesday’s final Group C qualifier against the Cheetahs of Benin.
Benin currently top the group standings with 17 points from nine matches, while Nigeria is third behind South Africa on 14 points.
