Cape Town’s inaugural Cotton Fest line-up announced

Following the announcement that Cotton Fest, the fashion and music festival co-founded by late rapper and fashion icon Riky Rick would expand to Cape Town in December, the line-up for the Mother City event has been announced.

The announcement that the event would expand to Cape Town was made in October. Cotton Fest Cape Town takes place at Paarden Eiland Park on 10 December.

Local favourites featured in the line-up include Anatii, A-Reece, Blxckie, Felo Le Tee, and Grandmaster Ready D. Other artists include J Molley, Moozlie, Pabi Cooper, Shekhinah, Shane Eagle and Uncle Vinny.

Upon announcing the expansion to Cape Town, co-founder and director Alain Ferrier said they were excited to build on Riky’s legacy and extend it to his (Ferrier’s) city, which was always part of their plans.
