Anambra Decides : Soludo Leads in Governorship Poll Result

Incumbent Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo is leading with wide margin in the Saturday governorship election.

He has won the majority votes cast in all the 21 local governments of the state. He was trailed by Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Barr Paul of the Young Progressives Party, YPP and Chief George Moghalu of the Labour Party put up some showing. Governor Soludo contested on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

As at press time on Sunday morning officials took a break, results of 18 out of 21 LGA had been released.
