As the taxi wars in South Africa’s Western Cape province rages on, 10 taxi routes will be closed for a month starting Wednesday.
This comes after warring taxi associations CATA and CODERA failed to reach a peace agreement.
Mfuleni to Somerset West and Khayelitsha to Somerset are some of the routes in dispute.
Meanwhile six people have died and nine others injured as a result of the ongoing conflict. Talks are still ongoing in order to reach a compromise.
