South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns will clash with Esperance Sportive de Tunis for a place in the CAF Champions League semifinals on Tuesday night at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 21H00, live on SABC Sports and SuperSport TV.
The South Africa side head to this return leg with an upper hand following a crucial 1-0 victory at home, courtesy of Peter Shalulile’s second-half heroics in a physically demanding first leg encounter.
For Sundowns, reaching the semi-finals will not only avenge last season’s exit at the hands of Esperance, but also assert their dominance in African football.
Head Coach Cardoso’s leadership is being tested early, and success here could solidify his credentials.
The mission is clear: conquer Tunisia and take a step closer to continental glory.
