South Africa’s Minister of Electricity, Mr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa is recovering after a car crash that happened on Sunday afternoon, 14th April, 2024.
His spokesperson, Ms. Tsakane Khambane, confirmed the incident.
It’s understood that Ramakgopa was travelling from North West province to Gauteng province with two protectors at the time.
Ramokgopa managed to escape the accident unscathed, and Khambane said he did not need to be admitted to hospital.
Khambane said everyone involved in Sunday’s accident received prompt medical attention.
After a thorough examination, she said Ramokgopa was discharged, adding that the minister was doing well.
He wished those injured in the accident a speedy recovery, and also offered his best wishes to all those affected.
