Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) has blocked off major routes ahead of the G20 summit to be held this weekend at Nasrec Centre in Johannesburg.
The routes are in Sandton, around Nasrec, and in Roodepoort.
JMPD spokesperson, Xolani Fihla says motorists should follow advisories for smoother travel in the coming days.
He urged motorists to stay informed as dry-run operations take place ahead of the Summit next weekend. The JMPD and other law enforcement officers will block off major routes until 1pm.
