Work is ongoing in an active crime scene on Dumisani Makhaye Drive in Durban where four suspects were killed by police on Thursday.
It’s believed that four suspected extortionists were involved in a shootout with police officers.
KZN police spokesperson, Paul Magazwa, said officers are still on the scene.
“Four suspects who were sought for cases of extortion have been fatally wounded as they engaged in a gun battle with the police on Dumisane Makhaye Road.”
