COP-29: Qaiser Nawab lauds China’s commitment to global climate action

Qaiser Nawab, President of the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD), has commended China’s leadership and support for global climate action as well as their dedication to building a sustainable future.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the China Pavilion at the end of the UN Climate Conference COP-29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Nawab said that China’s commitment to climate action was an inspiration to nations worldwide.

“The China Pavilion has been a hub for meaningful dialogue, offering groundbreaking insights and fostering partnerships that transcend borders.

“China’s leadership and support for global climate action are commendable, and their dedication to building a sustainable future inspires nations worldwide,” Nawab said.

Nawab reiterated the need for continued collaboration to address pressing climate challenges and thanked the organizers for their hospitality and contributions to the success of COP-29.

“Together, we can achieve a brighter future for our planet,” he added.

Nawab commended China for its unwavering commitment to climate action and sustainability.

He highlighted the pavilion’s vibrant discussions, innovative solutions, and collaborative initiatives as a beacon of hope and progress at COP-29.

The pavilion, one of the most active and interactive throughout the conference, concluded with a resounding promise for a shared future in addressing the global climate crisis.
