South Africa will host their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup African Group C qualifier against Nigeria at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein in September.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) confirmed that the team will welcome the Super Eagles to the Bloemfontein venue at 18h00 on Tuesday, 9 September 2025 just a few days after facing Lesotho in an “away” fixture also slated for the same venue.
Kickoff in the match against Lesotho is also at 18h00 and the Lesotho Football Association told www.safa.net that they will communicate details around tickets at a later stage.
Tickets to the Bafana Bafana vs Nigeria showdown will open in three phases from R70.00 for adults and R40.00 for children under 12 years old.
Phase One is available ONLY at the Free State Stadium from Saturday, 2 August 2025 as follows:
– Saturday – 08h00 – 14h00
– Sunday – 09h00 – 14h00
– Daily – 08h30 – 16h30
Phase Two will open nationally on Saturday, 9 August 2025 at all Ticketpro Outlets at R100.00
Phase Three will open on Saturday 16 August 2025 at R150.00 for the Grand Stand area. This will include Spar, SuperSpar, Postnet and the Shell, BP and SASOL garages among others.
Bafana Bafana are currently top of Group C with 13 points after six matches and followed by Rwanda and Benin, who are both on eight points. Nigeria is fourth with seven points, Lesotho fifth on six points while Zimbabwe sits at the bottom with four points.
